As someone who loves audiobooks, I wondered: why don’t we have something similar for research papers? Sometimes you just want to get the gist of a paper while on the go—before deciding whether to sit down and really dive in. So I built Listen2Papers to give researchers and students the ability to consume that bit of knowledge even when they’re not in front of their PC or iPad.
The app lets you upload a PDF research paper and intelligently identifies its structure—headings, sections, and body text. It provides a reading guide that highlights the most interesting parts and shows you what you can safely skim. You can then select exactly which sections to convert to audio, turning them into bite-sized soundbites. These get stored in your personal library, ready to queue up and listen to whenever you have a moment.
